The Silly Goats Farm
Nigerian Dwarf
Spring Kidding Schedule 2011
Kids purchased from us include CD/T shots, deworming, disbudding, tattoos, hoof trimming, and castration, if applicable..  We will show you how to do any of these procedures that you wish to learn.  We reserve the right to retain any kid born on our farm, this year we intend to keep three or four does.
We disease test annually.  Our Nigerians were last tested negative for CAE and CL and Johnes in October 2009, the next test will be in April 2011, we don't want to shave their necks so late in the season this year like we did last year.

Doe kids are $300  Buck kids are $200 Wethers are $100
We will only sell exceptional boys as bucks, all others will be wethers.  We don't want to flood the state with bucks.

These are HIGH QUALITY goats!   Hat Trick's Sire is a Master Champion in the show ring due to his excellent conformation. Agamemnon (Aggie)  is from an amazing doe at Fairlea Farm and has famous Stonewall goats in his genetics.  Most of the does have star milkers in their history, refer to their individual pages for details.

Reservation details:
New this year, we are taking deposits of $50 to get on the waiting list for Spring kids.  The order of deposits received will determine the order of who get first pick of kids in the spring, after I pick the does that I am keeping, if any.  We are planning to keep 1 doe, most likely from Peanut.

If you would like to be put on the waiting list without a deposit you will be placed in line after anyone who has placed a deposit.  If you would like to be put on the waiting list for spring kids or place a deposit, please email me at
info@sillygoats.com.
The kids will go first come first served based on order of deposits received and after those, based on the order of contacting me to be on the waiting list.  I will let you know what place you are on the list when you contact me.

Showing Rebate:
If you buy a doe or buck kid (sorry, this does not apply to wethers) and you provide proof that you showed a Silly Goats Farm (registered SGF) goat from the 2011 kidding in a sanctioned AGS or ADGA goat show, I will send you a $25 check, even if the first time you show your 2011 kid is years from now.  This offer does not expire with time, and is not transferrable.  As soon as you show your 2011 buck or doe I will refund $25 of the price you paid for him/her.

I am not a good photographer :)  They don't sit still long enough for good photos.
Our goats are all very correct.  Give us a call and come visit our farm to see them in person.

Has It All GN Hat Trick
East Rivendell HK Sassparilla

SGF Galaxy  Star Fairlea Agamemnon
Galaxy had her first kids in 2009, she was an excellent mother, better than most even.  She has nice long legs with great dairy character.
Fairlea Agamemnon
Raspberry Grove Sally
Sally had twins this first year that she has been with us.  She came to our farm in 2009.   Breeding her to Aggie should result in some very nice dairy traits.

Fairlea Agamemnon

Shelby has a gorgeous sleek black coat, it is very shiny like no other black goat that I have seen.  She has bright blue eyes that contrast with her coat for a unique look.  We are excited to add her to our breeding line up when she is ready.

Pinto Bean had kids in October so she will be re-bred this Spring for Fall 2011 kids.
